About SideTracked Caches
This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website
Kidderminster railway stations
There are two adjacent railway stations in Kidderminster. The mainline station opened in 1852, and had a mock-Tudor station building which was demolished in 1968 due to dry rot, and replaced with a functional brick building. The more ornate terminus of the Severn Valley Railway, known as Kidderminster Town, was built in 1984 on the site of the old goods yard, when the preserved railway was extended from Bewdley. The building was built in a Victorian style, and given an overall canopy in 2006.
The event
The event will take place on the grass outside Kidderminster Town station, or close by and under cover if wet. There will be the usual opportunities to chat with other geocachers and swap TBs.
