This cache was originally placed for the sixth annual Greater Omaha Grave Hop, an event that takes place in the Omaha area. The caches are located in and around cemeteries. Please be respectful and search for the caches between dawn and dusk.
This multi is all about Peter Hansen.
Peter Hansen, a warrior from Winnert, Germany married his second wife, Maria Greggers, in Ostenfeld, Germany. Peter had a son, Julius from his first marriage. Nothing is recorded about his first wife. In 1881 the Peter and Maria moved their family to America and settled in Leigh,Colfax Co, NE. Peter was a farmer. Julius, Ernst, Anna, Gustav, and Otto were the names of Peter's 5 children. Peter died a few weeks before his youngest son, Otto, turned one year old. Otto then died a few weeks later just after his first bithday. Some of Peter's children are also buried nearby.
