Awakeri Wetlands is nestled amongst a new subdivision between Papakura and Ardmore, which we often walk our son in a wheelchair. Given it is in the midst of a new subdivision, the rubbish created by building sites means this wetlands is a catchment for much waste from time to time, so we thought a little spruce up once in a while could be in order.
We will have rubbish bags/little buckets for gathering rubbish, but if you could bring your own gloves, to protect against anything unforseen. Parking would be best down Battalion Drive, but there maybe limited parking 'off road' along Grove Road beside the event.
There might even be a souviner up for grabs for your support.
