Rutherglen Revival: 6 REbound...ary

BootnBee started geocaching just before the Easter 2023 Rutherglen Event and the retired ‘Rutherglen Post Office GC2NQ41’ was their first find. Remembering the event fondly and reliving the fun, the Rutherglen REvival series emerged.

Barkly Park was the home of The Rutherglen Football Club, nicknamed The Redlegs, which was formed in 1877 and was a founding member of the Ovens & Murray Football League in 1893. During the population boom in the gold rush days there were nine other local football teams! 

Barkly Park is now home of the Rutherglen Cats and Murray Felines, along with a range of other sporting groups. 

This location may be very busy on weekends and training nights, so stealth is a must.
