This church was built in the 1800s. It was the religious home of the famous Joushua Giddings. This church has also hosted the famous Elizabeth Cadey Stanton and held its first women's suffregette movement meeting here.
Another famous figure that had made their mark here was Neil Armatrong as he was baptized in this church.
In recent history this church became the first Open and Affirming church for the LGBTQIA+ Community..
Church worship times were moved to 9 am to accommodate yet another historical moment in the churches history. Today the church is led by shared pastor with another UCC church the first one in the churches denominations.history.
