Geocache Description:

Location: Burford Community Centre Park Pavilion (parking is available nearby at the provided waypoint)
Date: Friday, September 26, 2025
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm

This event is part of the Fall Fest 2025! Event weekend. Bring your pets, your friends, your family, and your geo-buddies, and help give back to the community that is hosting us. Please prepare to be outside to help us clean up Brant County - this event is under the covered pavillion, but while assisting with the clean up you will be exposed to whatever the weather brings. The event will begin at 2:00pm and end promptly at 4:00pm.

Reccommended areas that could use some attention will be waypointed for your convenience closer to the event date (and posted in an announcement on the cache page). There will be a logbook to sign and supplies (bags, gloves, etc) located under the pavilion at the posted coordinates. Make sure to grab your door prize ticket when checking into the event, if you wish to participate in the optional Prize Drawing. Your prize draw ticket can be placed in any of the prize buckets at Fall Fest HQ for thousands of dollars worth of great prizes.  If you return to GZ with the trash you have picked up before the end of the event, you may receive a small token of opur appreciation for helping out as well.

Please feel free to bring your bike or walk the local area to collect garbage and assist the local community. Stop by and say hi, grab your supplies and head out within the local community to lend a helping hand, or stay within Centennial Park and assist us in making sure the park is SPOTLESS! We are working with the County of Brant to ensure timely removal of the trash we collect - please be prompt in returning your full bags to the posted coordinates prior to 4:00pm.

The terrain ranges from flat, paved parking lot to ditches (which may have water in them, depending on how much rain we get) and soft rolling hills within the park. Outside of the park, additional hazards may exist. You are welcome to stay in an area that matches your abilities. There are caches in the area you can find during your travels, if you choose.

If you are planning to attend, please post your will attend so we can provide an approximate number pof participants to the county ahead of time, and ensure we have enough supplies on hand. See you there!
