You will need to download and play the Wherigo cartridge to find where the cache is hidden. This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which tells you the distance to the cache, but not the bearing. You may begin your search from any spot in the world using your Smartphone or Wherigo compatible GPS to navigate to the cache. The cartridge was created by -Waldmeister- and is available to download here.
-Waldmeister-'s The first Reverse Cache [WIG] is the original cache in this family.
Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box for the distance to the final location. Try to use your Reverse Cache Box as few times as possible. All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge is contained within it. The cartridge is multilingual. To begin, you will have to type this code into your player:
904386
417220
883663
It is suggested that you take the code with you on your journey.
It will be needed if it becomes necessary
to restart your player for any reason.
If you've ever been to Wauseon Ohio around the 3rd week of July, chances are you've come across E.G.G caches. These caches were started by handy man & fam. He put them out for the attendees of Midwest Geobash. This is a mega event that occurs yearly at the Fulton County Fairgrounds. It envolves many activities, events, prizes, games and fun.
Handyman's original cache page:
Outside of Northwest Ohio, guardrail caches are sometime referred to as E.G.G.s. This stands for Easy Guardrail Grab(s). There usually aren't many caching memories from E.G.G.s, but they usually end with a smiley.
Since new cache locations are so hard to find around here, I thought I would start a series for lame micros along the side of the road. Enjoy!!
Team Doxie took over the series and the fun continues!
We have decided to put our own twist on the
E.G.G. Series- Michigan style!
E-Easy G-Grab and G-Go
Most in the series will be easy 😈
Remember, this is the outdoors ....If you are intending to hunt for the caches, please come prepared with boots/old shoes (not sandals or flip-flops), long pants, and insect repellent. At any given time in South Eastern Michigan there is poison ivy, ticks and mosquitoes a plenty! While searching for this cache, YOU MAY ENCOUNTER WATER, MUD,THORNS, POISON IVY, SNAKES, MOSQUITOES AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS OUTSIDE! Due to the changing seasons in Michigan, the D/T may vary at different times of the year. You must physically sign the log to claim the find so, BRING YOUR OWN PEN. Failure to do so may result in the deletion of your log. We do check occasionally. Please DO NOT post spoilers in your log. Let everyone else have the fun that you did. BRING YOUR OWN PEN! Lastly, you may encounter water/mud while hunting this cache!
