I'm very suprised there is no geocache here as this is a must see attraction in Woodstock. The farm where she lived was located at this exact location!
Spring Snow Countess
Yes, a statue dedicated to a cow, but not just any cow - the legendary Sprngbank Snow Countess. In 1933 she broke the world record for butterfat production and held the record for 21 years. The Snow Countess statue is located on the original site of her home.
The Countess died at age 17, shortly after her last calving, during a heat wave. Although her stall had been lined with ice, she was unable to survive temperatures averaging over 100 degrees F.
The Cache
This is meant to be found but may require your eagle eyes and a step or two climb. Alternatively you can use a TOTT as I like to make these winter friendly and avoid muggles tampering.
