Barnet Trail
Barnet Trail is a wide and smooth walking path from beginning to end that is shared with bikes. It's very well suited for running although there is no shade at any point. If you want to extend this trail but keep it easy and not go up the mountain, there are a couple of good options. Crossing over Barnet Highway will take you to Barnet Marine Park where there are seaside trails with some nice views to the north. If you wish to get into the forest and on a hiking trail, the Mountain Air trail starts from the same trailhead and ends at the Harry Jerome Sports Centre where there are facilities available.
