Kevin Kirby Reserve - Helping out Kev
Kevin Kirby Reserve is a scenic and well maintained park with loads of areas to explore. The open space reserve boasts a large colourful playground, rotunda, bbq, toilet facilities and bush land perfect for bear hunts and cubby building. Kevin Kirby Reserve is a famiy favourite for many families in the Geelong West area, including the Donuthole clan.
This reserve is mainly maintained by the Friends of Kevin Kirby Reserve volunteers and this is where you come in handy. On Sunday 29th of September, we are seeking some extra pair of hands to help spread mulch around the trees and surrounds. You are encouraged to bring sturdy footwear, gloves, a hat and a drink bottle.
Gardening equipment will be provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own. A sausage sizzle will be cooked up at the end of the CITO for anyone keen to hang around for a chinwag. Please let me know if you plan on sinking your teeth into a snag to help with catering.
