Bill, bill, bill...wait! What's this? Not a bill! A postcard!

Have you ever experienced the rush of finding something other than a bill in your mailbox? Isn't it a wonderful feeling to know someone was thinking of you and took the time to drop you a note? When was the last time you sat down to send someone a greeting? Well, October 1st is a great day to do it for it is World Postcard Day. Plus, geocachers will be rewarded with a special souvenir. I can't think of a nicer reason to celebrate than a mid-morning coffee break event!
I'm coordinating with folks from the Greater Edmonton Area Geocaching Association so we may send greetings to other cachers in another province. If you are a-ok with fellow cachers sending you a postcard please message me your address before the event or, for folks who prefer, we will put our addresses in a "hat" for random distribution between local cachers. Of course, if you prefer getting bills and only bills, you need not provde your address at all as the postcard thing is merely optional - the choice to participate in postal pursuits is truly up to you.
For those who want to send a greeting please feel free to bring your own postcard to send or to trade (there will be some available for those who do not have a card of their own). If you are wondering what to say on the card how about a few words about the last time you received a postcard? Or perhaps a description of a favourite cache found? You've got a bit of time to think.
We will be meeting inside the Old Hudson building on the Douglas Street side where we can grab a hot beverage if you choose.
