After 5 years of caching we thought we'd finally try our hand at hiding some. So we thought we'd do a series about the great dogs we have been fortunate enough to have as part of our family.
Dog #2 was Brutus - a brindle colored Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He was a terrific addition to the family. He was part of a litter that a family had in their basement and were just trying to get rid of. Brutus was the ultimate baller and would play until we were the one's worn out. We would try and trick him by throwing the ball over the roof, from the front yard to the back yard where he couldn't see it. We'd then tell him to go get it and he'd run to the back and sure enough here he'd come proudly with the ball in his mouth. He looked intimidating but unless you were the not so smart cable guy who decided to hop the fence without warning (and got his butt bit) he was a friend to all.
