After 5 years of caching we thought we'd finally try our hand at hiding some. So we thought we would do a series about the great dogs we have been fortunate enough to have as part of our family.
Dog #4 was Kris, short for Kristmas. All of our previous dogs had been large animals although they believed they were lap dogs. So Mr. DenBomans and the 3 boys decided to get Mrs.DenBomans a true lap dog for Christmas and down to the shelter they went. They came across a year old shepherd mix who was on his last chance to be adopted. He was about 50 lbs. and seemed to be perfect. And since it was Christmas time his name came naturally. Turned out that Kris was not only a perfect lap dog, he turned into quite the ladies man. It didn't matter if she was family or friend - if she was on the couch he was right next to her. He loved the affection and left a great impression on all who met him.
