This series highlights historical locations in Skagit County. This was the final location of the Day Creek / Lyman ferry south shore terminus. The ferry ran from around 1900 until 1952. Terminus locations on both sides of the river changed about 4 times due to the river flooding and changing course. Information was provided from the Skagit River Journal. The road and Beach area is a State of Washington water access site. The No trespassing signs or for property along side.
