Originally made for a Crafts Council Exhibition, 'Family' is a responce to the work of Sir John Soane. Relating his work to Leon's practice and events in his own life, the concept was born while playing building bricks with his child.
With a deep rooted family history in the area and great affinity with the Charity's values, it felt only natural to donate this piece to the Heart of England Forest. Here it will stand, eventually returning to the earth to feed the new forest, continuing the cycle.
