In honour of a late family member's 100th birthday, we decided to make a challenge centered around "100". Although he spent the majority of his life in Kingston, he had many ties to Toronto as well. He had extended family and some formative years at school as a young man. A man of many talents and interests, foremost of which were related to being on the water from the time he was a young boy to serving in the RCN in WWII, and eventually as captain and C.O. of HMCS Cataraqui's navigation classes, and in retirement, as Federal Harbour master in Kingston. Although he died pre-internet, he would have loved Geocaching. So we thought this was the perfect time and place to commemorate him with a challenge cache.
The cache is at the posted coordinates. In order to find it, you must have found 100+ virtual (non-physical) caches.
Virtuals, EarthCaches, Webcams, Events, Locationless and Labs all count because they are finds which do not have a physical container, therefore they are in effect, virtual.
Note, the difficulty rating was a hard choice because for experienced cachers, this is an easy challenge requirement, but for beginners it is not.
Enjoy!
