Apple of My Eye is a fairly easy cache with some hidden treasures. It is located at our home so feel free to park in the driveway while you search.
A little history. June 26, 1948 Jerry Mattox was born. He was a beautiful soul. He loved his wife, Kim , his son Ashton, his 4 grandchildren and me (his daughter in love) with his whole heart. He loved his small town of Drewryville . Jerry never met a stranger and loved to talk. He was a volunteer with Drewryville Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Sadly, Jerry passed in February of 2016. We planted his memorial tree in March of 2016 as a 5 ft skinny little tree with no leaves. Look at it today. 😍 He was certainly the apple of our eyes. ❤️
If you look a few yards away from Jerry's tree, you will see a much smaller tree. That was planted for my grandfather,
Garland Bourgeois. He was a gentle giant. He served our military, was on the New Orleans Police Department and was a Decon at his Church for many years. The best stories in the world came from him.
