Welcome to the Walk Around Willoughby (WAW)! This series has been placed to celebrate our milestone of achieving 3000 finds, on a circuit of around 2.5 miles (4 km). We have aimed to include some fun caches/field puzzles as well as the usual micros, so hopefully you have fun on the walk! All caches should be easy finds, so please do log any DNFs so we can replace ASAP.
It is cyclable, although there is one point that is quite grassy where you may prefer to push your bike instead. After rain, the route will be somewhat muddy, so please keep this in mind. We have aimed to make the series enjoyable for children as well, but there is a road at the end of the circuit that, although it is not too busy, cars still go down quite fast - please be very careful on this. Additionally, from the last cache to the first one, we recommend walking through the village and NOT down Back Lane - this is a very busy road that people use to get to the A46, so it is not the safest to walk on.
This cache is a simple micro, that can be done as a drive-by. The name is because the container originally was used in a children's science kit, and contained strips of universal indicator.
