It looks like geopopnz is hanging up his geocaching credentials and archiving all of his caches. I've always held a soft spot in my heart for this park as our first home was just over one kilometre down the road in Renwick and we often came here withh the kids, walking the dog. We even had some family photos taken here.
So with the demise of geopopnz's Marlborough Lion Park (GC3NP0Z) cache, it is only fitting it is replaced with this. There are no lions here, the cache name refers to the local Lion's Club who created the park. However, it should be noted, there was once a private zoo located about three kilometres down the road at Fox's Island which did have lions.
