The Wells Fargo  train travelled the tracks for many days to reach the settlement of Elk Grove. There were rumors of happy gardens fed by towers of water in this place which the settlers prayed were true. Some on the contrary said they would find nothing  here but a desolate wasteland with little hope. They disembarked from the train with eyes wide open and a spring in their step at the prospect at what they might find. The cowfolk rendezvoused on their steeds as the clouds rolled in amidst the twilight. Just then in the distance they could see a majestic elk and his offspring cresting the nearby hill. Their backs reflected the last of the day's sunlight. This land of Elk Grove was indeed filled with promise and opportunity they said. The land of possibility.
