I've been to Pikes Peak before, but I had just started geocaching and wasn't that good at finding caches, yet. Now 9 years later, I'm going to try it again! I'm coming from Savannah by way of California on this trip to see some family and hubby to play golf. While hubby is playing golf down the mountain in Monument or somewhere, I'm going to reach the Peak, by driving, and search for some caches. I thought it would be fun to hold an event, too. I always enjoy meeting other cachers, local or otherwise, and sharing stories, caches, and/or hints. Join me for a quick meet & greet!
The Tuesday after Labor Day to Sept 30th the gates open at 7:30 am. Adult admission is $15 per person and children (6 to 15) is $5.00 per person. Reserve your entrance tickets early to avoid any delay. This event will be weather-dependent. For the latest weather updates, please call 719-385-7325.
