I've been Geocaching since I was 11 years old and I'm 18 now. When I was 12, I made a geocache out of a small peanut butter container and I had an entire plan on how it was going to be set up. I spray-painted the container camouflage and put a bunch of toys inside of it. I never got the chance to execute my plan with the geocache but I knew that sometime in the future I would make my 12-year-old self happy again. Fast forward to 6 years later, I started geocaching again to spend my time this summer with one of my friends. after a bunch of finds, he said that we should build and hide a cache. Immediately I was taken back to when I was 12 building my small peanut butter jar cache that never got a chance to become a geocache. I took inspiration straight from my 12-year-old mind but instead of a peanut butter jar, I used a 5-gallon bucket. After about $80 at the hardware store, I had all I needed to build the cache. I don't want to give away anything about where the cache is hidden, but it's exactly what I wanted it to be when I was 12.
I hope you guys enjoy this cache, expect more from me in the future. Please let me know if anything needs to be replaced/ fixed.
We got permission from the City of Bowie Forester John Haughey to place this cache.
