This event is a World Postcard Day event on Tueday 1 October.
What it's all about:
Did you know that there’s an official day to celebrate postcards? October 1 is World Postcard Day! This day began in 2019 to mark the 150th anniversary of the postcard. Every year, postcard enthusiasts meet up to celebrate the occasion, even making special postcards and stamps!
GHQ have announced a new souvenir to mark World Postcard Day which can be earned for attending our event on October 1st!
What we are going to do:
We'll be putting on an exhibition of all kinds of postcards, but this will also include Graeme of GCZ's fabulous Millennium Collection of 100+ postcards, put together in the late 1990's in which there is at least one for each year from 1900 to 2000, each pertaining to an event or happening in that year!
What we'd like you to do:
Come and join us anytime between 2.00 and 4.00pm and bring along and display any postcards. There will be plenty of table space.
Where: Trinity Church, High Street, Burwell, Cambridgeshire (in the small hall at the back of the church)
When: 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Tuesday October 1 2024
Refreshments: We shall have access to kitchen facilities so coffee, tea etc will be available.

Where to park: There is a small car park behind Trinity Church, accessed via a narrow driveway to the right of the building in the photo above (care needed). For larger vehicles there is plenty of on-street parking in the village.
