The hide is in Catalina State Park boundaries, which requires a $7 fee per car (1 to 4 adults), $3 Individual/bicycle or the use of a yearly State Park Pass.

This trail continues UP and turns into a pretty steep and upwards grunt !
It is for most part easy to follow, it does have some cairns in places, but a offline map is useful to have. It then levels out to a flat open area with some great views, including a close up look at Buster Mountain.
Cache is a ammo can with plenty of room for trades, use the usual desert awareness etc
