Downwinder #2 Death Stalker Traditional Cache

This is my #2 in a series of caches to honor downwinders, those who suffered from the atomic radiation after test bombs were dropped in the Nevada Desert in the 1950s. These tests were usually conducted when the wind blew east or northeast to avoid fallout over more densely populated areas to the south or west, including Las Vegas and Southern California. Two of my brothers were downwinder victims as was a good friend from Caineville who died from thyroid cancer. Radiation can damage DNA in the cells of living things, and damaged DNA can cause cells to mutate as in the speciman holding this geocache.
