The Event
Hi Everyone,
The League of Extraordinary Cachers (LEC) were formed in November 2015. To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, and 25 years of geocaching, we will be visiting Swindon, and thanks to the Biggin Hill Flyers we are hosting this Community Celebration Event:
Venue: Town Gardens, The Quarries, Swindon, SN1 4EX
Date: Saturday 22nd November 2025
Time: 13:00 to 15:00
There will be an event log to sign and a container for TBs and Geocoins. However, unfortunately due to the event's location it is unsuitable for large trackables (anything that will not fit into a small coat pocket).
There will be lots of geocaching discussions, along with some other geocaching fun and games, and a group photo or two, which are obviously all entirely optional!
We will be meeting outside near the cafe. Please log your 'Will Attend' in the normal way, as this will help us gauge the potential number of attendees.

The League of Extraordinary Cachers (LEC)
For those who haven’t come across us yet, The League of Extraordinary Cachers (LEC) was formed in November 2015 by terrapintim, Mang, Mr Matto, Dr Evil, and Woolleybear. They’d each known one another for a while but decided to team up with a shared goal: to meet fellow geocachers, swap stories and trackables, and encourage more people to get involved, all while having a good bit of fun along the way.
Since those early days, the group has steadily grown. While we’re still a relatively small community, we now have over 160 members across more than 12 countries. It’s a fantastic way to connect with others who enjoy the adventure and camaraderie of geocaching.

Community Celebration Events - 2025
This Event is part of a limited release of Community Celebration Events to celebrate 25 years of geocaching. Geocachers hosted events between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Learn more about Community Celebration Events on the Geocaching Blog.
