When: Saturday, August 16 11:30am - 1:30pm The venue opens at 11:30am, so don't arrive too early.
Where: Headlands Brewery, Walnut Creek (see PARKING notes)
2999 Oak Road, (On the south corner of Oak Road & Wayne Drive)
Parking:
There is limited parking on the street. However, there are two nearby parking garages (see the waypoints), as follows
1. Pleasant Hill BART parking garage (technically in Walnut Creek). This is FREE on Saturdays. It is a one block walk to the event. I recommend that you use this parking lot, if you don't mind the short walk.
2. Parking Garage on Wayne Drive, adjacent to the Event. This parking lot is closest to the event BUT a FEE parking lot at $3.99/hour. You need to load an app that takes your time when you park. You just drive out and it knows how long you parked based on reading your license plate when you exit. The Brewery has a 1 hour validation when you use a QR code on their front gate. !!! However, I had to additionally download and pay a fee for the app, then pay a service fee to do the checkout when I finished parking. It was also difficult to use the 1 hour validation on the app.
3. Local Streets: There are spots for parking on nearby Streets, some metered.
