In collaboration with Ottawa County Parks, this event is geared towards new or aspiring geocachers. Following a short informal meet and greet, we will head out into the park where I will lead a hike to find a few geocaches, which will demonstrate some different cache sizes and hiding techniques.
The planned timeline is as follows:

9:30 Meet and Greet - new geocachers and those interested can meet some experienced geocachers who are usually glad to help and answer questions. Existing geocachers can celebrate this hobby of ours!

10:00 Geocaching Hike - after some introductory remarks, we will take a 2 to 3 mile hike along the trails, stopping to find a few geocaches along the way. This should take about an hour and a half.
