What could be better than pizza on March 14th, also know as Pi-day, because March 14th is 3-14 and pi is 3.14 ?
FREE PIZZA-Pi ! (get it?)
As with all 3 Williams Kidz events, if you attend this event you will get something for free and in this case, it is a slice of free pizza ! This local establishment has agreed that I can host an event here, the size of a typical birthday party; a geoaching Community Celebration event must be at least 2 hours long and space is limited, so arrive when you can on a workday during lunchtime, enjoy a slice of pizza on us, maybe do some trackable trading, and be on your way. I/we are celebrating the geocaching community by looking forward to seeing YOU at this event.
Not everyone has the same time for lunch, so hopefully 1030-1230 gives you enough time to make it here, get some pizza-pi, and say hi to everyone there at the time.
And, while at this event, you can get credit on your public profile for having attended a Community Celebration event !
Update February 18th: Attending an event on Pi Day will NOT earn you the digital souvie for Pi Day; specifically, In 2025, geocachers can earn the Pi Day souvenir by finding and logging any Mystery Cache between Friday, March 14 and Sunday, March 16.
I will update this cache page with additional info as the day gets closer, but for now -- hope to see you there !
