For my 2025 CCE I would like to introduce you to another of my hobbies - Pinball !
And why not celebrate on my Birthday? There may even be cake!
This event is suitable for all - children, adults, and well behaved dogs are allowed (though please bear in mind that there will be flashing lights and maybe loud noises from the pinball machines).
I hope to see you there!
With very many thanks to Nik and Emma for opening up the Skillshot club for this CCE -
All the pinball machines will be set to FREE PLAY so you are welcome to try as many or as few as you like.
There is no obligation to partake in the pinball, there is a seating area if you prefer not to play.
If you are bringing any smaller children then a toddler step stool may be handy.
There is a small kitchen area, with an honesty box for teas/ coffees/ cans of pop.
Oh, and -Yup- there will be birthday cake!
I'd be very grateful if you could post a Will Attend if you think you might be able to join us so that we can cater accordingly.
Date/ Time:
Sunday 12th October
6-8pm
Venue:
Skillshot Pinball
Old Cinema
7 Bridgend Rd
Llanharan CF72 9RA
Please ring the Ring doorbell by the white front door to access the venue, or car park.
Transport/ Parking:
The venue is situated close to Llanharan station so easily accessible by train. It's only a 5 miinute walk from here.
Best bet - There is free car parking available at the Llanharan train station car park - and should be quiet on a Sunday eve. (P1)
Alternatively, there is parking available behind the building - with electronic gates (which are self-closing) - so to access the car park/ venue please ring the Ring doorbell and the gates will be opened for you. (P3)
Please park in front of the portacabins only - there is a ramped back entrance between the containers.
Best not to park in the Llanharan Welfare Field car park (the gated car park past Barrmore vets) as I'm not sure the time they lock the gates, though there is some limited roadside parking alongside Barrmore vets. (P2)
Please see gallery map for parking.
Accessibility:
There is a step-up at the front door to access the building.
The back entrance is via the car park area - the surface is loose gravel and there is a small ramp up at the double doors, so should be suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Warning:
Many of the pinball machines have flashing lights, so this event will not be suitable for people who suffer from Photosensitive Epilepsy.
