I am not a fan of earthcaches and avoid them if there is plenty of alternatives in an area. That strategy falls apart once I have cleaned an area of all other types and then I am forced to do some work. That got me thinking that maybe a bit more knowledge of geology would improve my earthcaching and so I came up with the idea for this event. There will be a geologist to give a talk on rocks with examples to boot. I'm sure it will be about more than just limestone and granite as we've all seen those enough times by now surely. The talk will be in a room in the Circle K petrol station and will be open to all members of the public. I hope to see you there.
