Cachetur 201 Class - 2025 CCE Community Celebration Event

As you have moved amongst your geocaching circles you may have heard of Cachetur.no, a free-to-use web based trip planning tool. It can be a powerful and useful tool if you are planning a geocaching excursion, a road trip, even a local trip, or maybe a geoart cache run.

Cachetur allows you to:

• Plan geocaching trips both near and far

• Import from and export to bookmarks on geocaching.com

• Add other waypoints, such as parking coordinates, tourist attractions, etc

• Quickly and easily see what caches you have planned and what caches you or any of the trip's participants own or have found

• Generate routes for your trip

• See statistics for the caches in your trip

• Invite others to participate in your trip

Cachetur is completely free to use (financed by donations), but, you do have to be a Premium Member on geocaching.com to use it.  This is the second of two planned classes on ways to use Cachetur and will go into more detail on some of the options with the program. It will be as much of a Q&A session as a class, so bring your questions and lap top with you.
