Happy 25 years to Geocaching! And what better way to celebrate than with cake?
For this Community Celebration Event, we will be offering a taste of American history in the form of... cake. Some of you know that Fievel loves to bake. Even better, she loves to share what she bakes with others! We also both love history, so for this CCE, we will be sharing a bit of US history in the form of three centuries of cake. That's right - Fievel will be preparing three cakes - one each from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Want to explore how American tastes (and dessert) have changed over time? This is your chance. We'll have some drinks and other light refreshments as well, and feel free to bring a snack to share. All in all, we hope to enjoy one another's company and welcome the spring!
Note: This is an outdoor event under a small shelter. If there is light rain or wind, we will continue the event as planned. If there is significant rain or other inclement weather, we'll move the event indoors to one of the nearby University of Indianapolis campus buildings. Log a "will attend" to receive announcements in case of poor weather!
