I meet some of the Winterley Methodist Brass in here most Thursdays.
Have done for quite a few years now.
It's the only pub in in Winterley now as the Holly Bush closed down a few years ago.
(Remember KT 45 - Winterley Warmer!?)
Nick, the new landlord, is working quite hard to get this place back to being an asset for the local community.
He's putting on different events and food...so I asked him about holding a geocaching get together...and he was dead keen to accommodate us all.
We've got an area reserved just for us.
It's a proper old skool pub so we've got a roaring open fire, cold toilets and a fruit machine; plus there's darts and lots of other stuff to amuse yourself with if you need it.
I've booked the Little Green Kitchen to feed us as they regularly cater at this venue and they know the score.
All cachers are welcome to come along.
If you've not been to an event before, please do log a 'Will Attend' so we can look out for you.
Please do come and join in the fun.
There is no obligation to buy food to attend the event. It's fine to come along and just say hello.
