Dzień Żołnierzy Wyklętych - CCE2025
1 marca świętujemy Dzień Żołnierzy Wyklętych czyli polskich żołnierzy którzy po II Wojnie Światowej nie złożyli broni i w partyzanckich organizacjach wojskowych stawiali czynny opór Armii Czerwonej i komunizacji Polski. Walczyli o prawdziwą wolność dla wszystkich obywateli. O wolność niezależną od ZSRR i prawdziwą niepodległość. Przez władze komunistyczne byli przedstawiani jako buntownicy i zdrajcy, a często wręcz dosłownie wymazywani z historii poprzez egzekucje bez procesu i zbiorowe leśne mogiły bez nagrobków. Dlatego warto pamiętać o bohaterach.
Nasz event oprócz upamiętnienia Żołnierzy Wyklętych ma na celu świętowanie 25-lecia geocachingu! Dlaczego tak? Ponieważ geocaching oprócz rozrywki bardzo często edukuje. Skrytki powstają w miejscach historycznie ważnych, a listingi zawierają ciekawe historie o dawnych czasach lub wydarzeniach.
W ramach eventu planujemy porozmawiać na temat Żołnierzy Wyklętych, ale i również o roli geocachingu w przekazywaniu wiedzy historycznej. Chętnie usłyszymy o ciekawych skrytkach o tematycie wojennej odwiedzonych przez uczestników eventu. Dodatkową atrakcją będzie premiera tematycznego Adventure Lab oprowadzającego po terenie byłego Aresztu Śledczego w Ostrołęce oraz publikacja fizycznej skrytki bonusowej. Dnia 1.III obowiązywać będzie zasada Friendly FTF, według której każdy kto zaloguje kesza w tym dniu może traktować się jako pierwszy znalazca i zalogować FTFa. Następnie wspólnie ruszymy na zwiedzanie Muzeum Żołnierzy Wyklętych. Oczywiści wstęp do muzeum dla uczestników eventu CCE będzie darmowy! Po zakończeniu zwiedzania każdy z uczestników otrzyma tematyczny woodcoin.
Po zakończeniu eventu zapraszamy wszystkich chętnych uczestników na event CITO podczas którego wspólnie posprzątamy teren lasu w okół cmentarza wojennego. Będzie to świetna okazja na tematyczne zakończenie dnia poświęconego żołnierzom, a także na zdobycie souvenira CITO 2025 Season 1! :)

Day of the Cursed Soldiers
On March 1, we celebrate the Day of the Cursed Soldiers, i.e. Polish soldiers who did not lay down their weapons after World War II and actively resisted the Red Army and the communization of Poland in partisan military organizations. They fought for true freedom for all citizens. For freedom independent from the USSR and true independence. They were portrayed by the communist authorities as rebels and traitors, and often literally erased from history through executions without trial and mass forest graves without tombstones. That's why it's worth remembering the heroes.
We plan to talk about the Cursed Soldiers, but also about the role of geocaching in transmitting historical knowledge. We will be happy to hear about interesting war-themed caches visited by others geocachers. An additional attraction for participants will be the premiere of the thematic Adventure Lab, which will show people around the former prison in Ostrołęka, and the publication of a bonus cache. On March 1, the Friendly FTF rule will apply, according to which anyone who logs the cache on that day can log in the FTF. Then we will go together to visit the Cursed Soldiers Museum. Of course, admission to the museum will be free for CCE event geocachers! After the event, each geocacher will receive a thematic woodcoin.
After the event, we invite everyone to the CITO event, during which we will clean up the forest area around the war cemetery. This will be a great opportunity to end the day dedicated to soldiers thematically, as well as to win the CITO 2025 Season 1 souvenir! :)
