Welcome to the fourth annual secret santa present exchange.
You are not required to exchange presents in order to attend this event. If you do not wish to, you are more than fine to come and just hang out, talk about caching, etc.
This event is in the DeKalb Oasis, which is open 24 hours to the public with public restrooms, seating areas, outlets, brochures, free wifi and even some restaurants if you are hungry and a gas station with a convenient store at the oasis. If you do wish to exchange presents, come with some geocaching related items (wrapped up or in a gift bag). These items could be fake rocks, bison tubes, cable ties, TOTTs, 3D printed containers, ammo cans, pens, Geocaching t-shirt, etc. It doesn't need to be a lot.
The exchange will happen at 2:30. This year we will be doing a White Elephant exchange of sorts. After all the presents have been exchanged, everyone can ‘steal’ one gift. Each present can only be stolen once, and it will happen in reverse order of who picked the first presents
The suggested recommended amount for a gift is approximately $25.
