Geocache Description:

Bridges of Snape

This is a simple 2 stage cache with parking available at the Village Institute

The beck, correctly known as the Nurse Well, runs through the centre of Snape and it is crossed by at least 10 bridges, some for cars and some for pedestrians, the cache is based on one of the pedestrian bridges at N 15.247 W001 35.703

The bridge in question has a mosaic floor that was created to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth 2 in 2002. A group of villagers aided by children from Snape Primary School and advised by staff from the Rural Arts Centre in Thirsk created the mosaic with the theme of nature and wildlife on or near a stream.

At this bridge you need to study the mosaic, identify various creatures that are there and then answer the questions about them to complete the co-ordinates for the cache location.
