This cache is NOT placed at the posted coordinates, GZ is listed as a visible waypoint.
To support Victoria's first ever Block Party, event mascot Muggle the Puggle has teamed up with geocachers across Victoria to place a range of caches for you all to find & enjoy. Whether you visit before, during, or after The Sunbury Event, we hope you enjoy your time in Sunbury & the surrounding areas of Hume.
This series of 25 Challenge Caches are all themed around the number 25 (some more loosely than others). Happy 25 years!
This challenge has not been deliberately designed to exclude or discriminate against any Geocachers, but to create a sense of achievement when you reach certain goals. Feel free to sign this cache at any time, but to claim the find you must qualify for the challenge. If you do not qualify, you may add a 'write note' log until such time that you do qualify. The challenge checker at the bottom of this page will tell you if you qualify. This challenge has been placed in compliance with the Challenge Cache Guidelines and the Victorian Regional Policy.
Muggle the Puggle's Challenge #15 - Angel Number "Friendship" Challenge
A person's birthday angel number is a number sequence that is calculated from a person's birth date, month, and year. Say you were born on the 1st of March 1992, you would add 0 + 1 + 0 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 2, which is 25 and so 25 would be your birthday angel number. Some believe that a person's birthday angel number can reveal a person's personality and how others see them, while others believe that their birthday angel numbers can help guide their life path in terms of love, career choices, and friendship.
It just so happens to be that in the context of friendships, birthday angel number 25 symbolizes the evolution and dynamic nature of social relationships. This number suggests that you may experience changes in your friendships, which could include the blossoming of new relationships or the transformation of existing ones. It encourages openness to meeting new people who resonate with your evolving interests and values. That sounds like something we can translate into geocaching terms pretty easily...
Ever since the first official event, Austin Geocachers Happy Hour (GC389), was hosted back on 24-March-2001, and let's be honest probably even before this, geocachers have loved to gather together. The game has become increasingly more social over the years and events are easily one of the best places to meet new people, make new friends, and form lasting relationships. It's no wonder that geocaching events have evolved to now include CITOs, Megas, and even Gigas! Not to mention Community Celebration events & Block Parties in 'special' years, of which 2025 is no doubt a special year. This challenge has been hidden in order to honour all of those amazing friendships and socials bonds created at events all across the World.
In order to qualify for this challenge cache you need to 250 'points' worth of events attended, using the following scores by event types:
Standard Event/Community Celebration Event: 2.5 points each
CITO: 10 points each
Mega/Block Party: 25 points each
Good Luck!
