To support Victoria's first ever Block Party, event mascot Muggle the Puggle has teamed up with geocachers across Victoria to place a range of caches for you all to find & enjoy. Whether you visit before, during, or after The Sunbury Event, we hope you enjoy your time in Sunbury & the surrounding areas of Hume.
Puzzles 21 through 24 will be 'educational puzzles' - for those who are newer to puzzle caches, these will walk you through solving puzzles of increasing difficulty from D2 through to D5. Whilst these will not make you an expert in puzzle solving, it will give you some examples of the different ways that puzzles can be tackled. Officially, all of these puzzles will be rated D1, as we are providing you with the solution. To make the hide itself also D1, the cache hint will tell you exactly where & what to look for at GZ.
Being that D5 is the toughest of tough, here you will be able to choose from 3 paths to the solution:
1 - Do not take this route. It is currently unsolveable using this manner. The D5 route: Can you crack the puzzle and make your Geocaching friends Green with envy? How many hours are you willing to invest into it before moving on... 10? Dive on in. If you encounter the Intermediate route information, it will be clearly marked as such. Just Ignore it.
2 - Do not take this route. It is currently unsolveable using this manner. The Intermediate route: Want to have a crack at solving, but want some help? Continue onto the next section and work your way through. Something you learned in an earlier 'How to solve' puzzle will help you on your way. It still wont be easy, but you will get some help. If this were published as a genuine D5, this next information wouldnt exist
3 - The easy route. As with the previous 3 'How to solve a...' puzzles, simply click on the image of Muggle the Puggle above and you will be taken to a walk through document. Again, this pdf file does not need to be downloaded, you can open it in your web browser.
Good luck. If you solve this without clicking on the link for the walk through, we would love to hear about it in your log!
