What do I remember about my school days? Firstly they were a long time ago in an era of O Levels and A Levels. I remember going to five different schools (which I’m told is a high number unless you moved home). Two were primary schools as a new one was built and children then moved to it from the old primary school. I then went to a Boys Grammar School, which after two years merged with the Girls Grammar school to become a High School under a local education reorganisation. Finally I went to a sixth form college for my A levels.
In terms of subjects I remember PE and games. The former was in the gym but games often meant football (cricket in summer) and cross country running. We still did these if raining and even in winter with snow on the ground! At secondary school I had to study Latin, History and various other subjects that got dropped as soon as I chose my options for O Levels.
To solve this puzzle you need to find my eight O level subjects by working out the anagrams below.
Knowing the subjects, you then need to find a word linked to each subject in the wordsearch. The number of letters in each of these words helps complete the co-ordinates. Additionally, reading down the unused letters gives a hint to the cache location.
The cache can be found at N 53 1A.BCD W 002 5E.FGH (checksum of A-H is 47)
