A self-described cute gray tabby cat who first made an appearance in a comic strip in 1976 and appeared more recently in late December, 2023, on television and with “friend” Garfield in DVD movies. Nermal’s purpose for existence seems to be dedicated to annoying the cartoon partners Garfield and Odie, though not always successfully.
Comic strip, movie, and TV Nermal is often described as smart-alek, arrogant, devious, uncontrollable, selfish, and obnoxious. Of course, this AZNermal character found in our local environs is much more pleasant and friendly. Lucky us.

Be aware of the usual suspects in the desert; things that bite, sting, scratch, poke, etc. Uneven ground can make secure footing a concern. Step carefully. Always a good idea to bring some water along.
