At the 74 km mark on the Northern Cross-Island Highway lies the entrance to Forest Road 100. From here to Qilan, a 100 km ultramarathon is held annually. The turnaround point is at the Qilan Three Sisters.
I participated in the first edition and hid a few caches along this route as a way to commemorate it.
北橫74公里處剛好是100林道的入口，從這裡到棲蘭，年年都有辦越野100公里超馬賽，折返點在棲蘭三姐妹。
