Lawrence Hargrave Drive Geotrail
This geocache continues your journey along the Lawrence Hargrave Drive Geotrail, a scenic power trail stretching approximately 14.5 kilometers along Wollongong’s stunning coastline. Named after the pioneering Australian aviator Lawrence Hargrave, the drive offers breathtaking views of the ocean and rugged coastline. Hargrave’s innovative work with box kites in the late 19th century laid the groundwork for modern aviation.
During weekends and holidays, the trail can be quite busy, so a bit of discretion may be needed. Most caches are conveniently placed along the path for easier access.
