伸港鄉以奉祀天上聖母媽祖的福安宮為信仰中心，福安宮至今已有三百多年的歷史，廟宇建築巍峨雄偉，香火鼎盛，信徒遍佈全省，為在地鄉民的信仰中心。福安公園位於福安宮後方，庭中有九龍池、健康步道、棋巷等多項設施，綠意盎然，是個很有台味的鄉間公園。
