Co-ordinates bring you to the Historical building of the Magdalen College School. This school was built in 1484. It was built by William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester to provide scholars for his new foundation - Magdalen College, Oxford. The building was later known as Wainfleet Grammar School and then Wainfleet Secondary Modern School in the mid twentieth century. In 2007, the upper floor housed a local museum, and the lower floor used as a branch of the County Library. Ample parking is available. The geocache is outside the building, go a grab a cup of tea and cake and sit in the secluded Victorian garden. This is also a good starting point for the Wainfleet Heritage Trail.
