THE GEOCACHE is a two inch (5cm) long, coloured metal tubular container, fixed to a wooden tent peg, in the ground, at the base of a multi trunk tree, not far from a wooden fence. There is a log roll in a plastic bag, but no room for anything else, so please bring your own pen or pencil. Wellies are recommended in wet weather. Beware of muggles on the nearby paths. The geocache is deployed with the kind permission of the Coastal Sites Team of Hampshire County Council.
THE VENUE for the NC series is a child and dog friendly loop around Netley Common. There are scattered seats within the venue, with interesting views, and some great sun sets. The paths are a mixture of hard gravel, cut and uncut grass, woodland, and open grass. The areas used are level. Beware of muggles and dogs. Please use the gates in the fenced areas. There can be barbed wire in unexpected places, so be careful when going off the main paths.
