Welcome to my hometown, Johns Creek, ranked by Travel and Leisure as the #1 best suburb to live in the United States. We are proud of our city and happy to have lived here since before it was even a “twinkle in someone’s eye”.
Johns Creek is known and celebrated for many things, one being its large cultural diversity. In April 2018, this unique aspect of our city was brought to life in a large mural covering the pedestrian tunnel under Medlock Bridge Road/ State Route-141. Each letterform represents a language spoken by the residents of Johns Creek. Each entrance also features a Cherokee letterform to honor the native Americans who once lived in the area.
The posted coordinates will take you to the east entrance of the tunnel. As an added Easter-egg, looking down the tunnel, the artwork will take the form of a heart and peace sign.
Here, you will also find a placard describing the artwork.
I hope you enjoy your visit to the Johns Creek Tunnel.
The coordinates for the final will require a little stroll, careful observation and a little math.
North A B.C
