Geocache Description:

The Yamabe no Michi is an ancient road that weaves along the eastern foot of the Nara Basin from the foot of Mt. Miwa, passes through Ishigami Furu, and leads to Nara, and its name is even recorded in the Nihon Shoki.
Many shrines and temples, ancient tombs, famous places, and historic sites still exist along the Yamabe no Michi, inviting visitors to the ``world of ancient history.''

Hakusan Shrine is a shrine located in Sonoharacho, Tenri City.
It is located along the Yamabe Road.
Its founding and origins are unknown.
Like other Hakusan shrines, the shrine enshrines deities such as Kukurihime-no-kami and Izanagi-no-mikoto, and it is believed that prayers were offered for bountiful harvests and long life.
