Geocache Description:


Activity: Enhancement planting

Date: Saturday, November 2, 2024

Time: 12:30 am to 3:30 pm

Park: Aldergrove Regional Park

Meeting location: Blacktail Picnic Shelter (27240- 8th Avenue, Langley; 49.012187, -122.466842)

Details:  Meet at the Blacktail Picnic Shelter where we’ll have a pizza lunch (12:00 pm to 12:30 pm).  After lunch, the group will walk to the planting site (49.013757, -122.465445).  Participants will be enhancing an old sedge field by planting native vegetation.  The event will run rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the activity and weather.  Sturdy, closed-toed shoes are required.  Waterproof shoes or boots recommended.  Metro Vancouver will provide all the necessary tools (e.g. work gloves, shovels, etc.).
