Geocache Description:

This is a replacement for the fourteenth of a little series I have decided to place in commemoration (or some times celebration) of pubs that have disappeared.

This is another pub I remember frequenting either on a pub crawl (after The Elm Tree) or in it's more recent history for a cheap meal when it became a starving equine establishment.

It had a large car park at the rear, with a pond / stream in I seem to remember, however as is far too common now the whole site has been developed into housing called Banks Yard.

This pub was closed and demolished circa 2006

At the published coordinates (on the pavement) you will find a small square Thames Water metal cover beneath your feet.

On this cover there are some triangles. The total number of triangles = a

On this cover there is a BS number bcde

On this cover there is a part number fgdb AN

The magnetic cache can be found a short walk away at

N51 2(a+g).(c-a)(b)(d+e)

W000 2f.(b+g)(e+f)(c-d)

Please bring a pen.

Happy Hunting.
